How We Review
BizTut recommends tools to help small businesses make better decisions, not to sell whatever pays the most. This page explains how we pick, test and rank the products we write about.
What we look at
- Does it solve the job? We judge each tool against a real small-business task, such as sending an invoice, filing VAT or capturing leads.
- UK fit. UK pricing in pounds, VAT handling, Making Tax Digital compatibility where relevant, UK data storage and UK support hours.
- Total cost. The price you will actually pay once the introductory offer ends, including add-ons and per-user charges.
- Ease of use. How long it takes a non-specialist to get set up and get a result.
- Trust. Company track record, security, cancellation terms and what real users report.
How we test
Where a free trial or plan is available, we sign up and use the product for the task we are reviewing. Where we have not been able to use a product hands-on, we say so clearly in the review. We check prices and features at the time of writing and show the date each review was last updated.

We never publish made-up reviews, ratings or testimonials. Any customer feedback we show is real and unedited apart from length.
